Booking & Scheduling
Booking & scheduling
How do I book?
Start with Reserve Your Glow. When your service and address qualify for instant pricing, you’ll complete a deposit checkout to secure your request; otherwise Glowtoure follows up with a quote first. Every appointment is reviewed personally before it’s confirmed.
How does confirmation work after I request an appointment?
When your service and address qualify, you'll complete a deposit checkout that holds your place in the queue. We review timing, location, and fit — usually within 24 hours — and your appointment is confirmed once we approve it. Before approval, your deposit secures the request and can be refunded or offered as credit if we can't approve your time or area; once confirmed, it applies toward your total.
Is my appointment confirmed when I pay my deposit?
Not yet. Your deposit secures your request and applies toward your total. We still review your service, timing, and location before confirming — and if we can't approve your requested time, location, or service area, your deposit is refunded or offered as a transfer or credit.
How far in advance should I book?
For everyday tans, 3–7 days ahead is ideal. For bridal trials, plan 2–4 weeks before the wedding. For weddings or events, book the wedding-week tan 2–3 days prior. Mobile appointments often need a bit more lead time depending on routing.
How long does an appointment take?
Most spray tan appointments take 25–35 minutes. Bridal services with trials and contour can run 45–60 minutes. Mobile appointments include setup time on top of the application itself.
Can I book same-day?
Same-day requests are accommodated when scheduling allows. Start your booking request on /book and complete deposit checkout when it applies; if a slot is available, we'll approve it the same day once your request is secured.
The Service
The service
What is the difference between Signature, Express, and Luxe?
Signature Glow is our classic, aloe-infused vacation glow on a hydrating, naturally derived formula. Express Glow uses a fast-developing version you can rinse in as little as two to five hours. Luxe Glow is a skin-first treatment — two full coats of peptide- and hyaluronic-infused color that hydrates as it wears. Every tan includes our three-step treatment: a pH-balancing prep, a luminous setting powder, and a hydrating finishing spray.
Will I look orange?
No. Solutions are mixed to your skin tone and undertone, applied in controlled layers, and developed in a timed window. The goal is a skin-authentic result — not a flat, overly warm finish.
Can I choose my color depth?
Yes. We talk through your preferred depth — light, medium, or deep — and adjust the solution accordingly. We'll recommend a depth that flatters your skin tone and event lighting.
What if I want a subtle result instead of dark?
Subtle is one of the most-requested looks at Glowtoure. We can mix a soft glow that reads natural in person and on camera, especially for first-time clients or clients with very fair skin.
How long does a spray tan last?
Most clients see strong color for about 7–10 days with proper prep and aftercare. Wear time varies by skin type, activity level, and home routine.
Do spray tan results vary?
Yes. Spray tan results vary by skin tone, undertone, preparation, aftercare, product absorption, hormones, medications, skin condition, lifestyle, and timing. We customize every appointment, but exact color outcomes, wear time, and fading patterns can't be promised.
Prep & Aftercare
Prep & aftercare
What do I do to prepare?
Exfoliate thoroughly 24 hours before (focus on dry areas like elbows, knees, and ankles), shave or wax so pores have time to close, and avoid bar soaps, oil-based scrubs, and heavy lotions. Day-of, arrive with clean, dry skin—no lotion, oils, deodorant, or perfume—and wear loose, dark clothing and slip-on shoes. Read the full prep guide for every step and service-specific notes.
What should I wear after?
Loose, dark clothing — no tight waistbands, no leggings, and no bras until your tan has fully developed and rinsed. Flip-flops are ideal for shoes.
When can I shower?
Your rinse window depends on the service. Standard Signature Glow rinses in 8–12 hours. Express Glow rinses in 1–4 hours depending on desired depth. Your confirmation will include the exact timing for your appointment.
Can I exercise after my tan?
Avoid sweating until your tan has fully developed and rinsed. After your first rinse, light activity is fine — heavy sweat sessions, saunas, and swimming will accelerate fade.
What products should I avoid?
Skip exfoliating washes, retinol, AHAs/BHAs, oil-based lotions, and self-tanning maintainers that aren't tan-safe. Stick to gentle hydrating cleansers and a tan-safe moisturizer until your color has faded.
Do I need to disclose allergies or skin sensitivities?
Yes. Please share allergies, skin sensitivities, recent skin treatments, sunburn, irritation, pregnancy-related concerns, or any condition that may affect service suitability before your appointment. We may decline or reschedule a service if we believe it may be unsuitable or unsafe.
Bridal & Mobile
Bridal & mobile
Do you offer bridal packages?
Yes. Bridal Glow Experience and Bridal Glow Luxe are detailed on the bridal service page. Both include a trial tan, wedding-week appointment, and bridal aftercare guidance.
When should I schedule my trial tan?
Most brides do their trial 2–4 weeks before the wedding. This gives time to refine depth and undertone before the wedding-week tan.
When should I do my wedding-week tan?
2–3 days before the wedding. This gives the color time to settle and reach its most flattering, photogenic state on the wedding day.
Can the bridal party book together?
Yes. Bridal parties can book mobile group appointments — each guest gets a custom solution mixed for their own skin tone, not a one-size result.
What is the difference between studio and mobile?
Mobile appointments are priced by your city and ZIP inside my approved service area. A dedicated studio location is coming soon. Mobile appointments use the same application standards with a portable setup at your home or event location across our service area. Full mobile details are on the mobile service page.
What do I need to provide for a mobile appointment?
A clean, private space of at least 6×6 feet, good lighting, ventilation, an electrical outlet, nearby parking, and pets secured before the appointment begins.
What happens if my mobile address is outside the approved service area?
Addresses outside the approved mobile service area need a custom quote before any deposit. We may follow up for a few details and send a quote, or — depending on distance, timing, setup, access, safety, or availability — let you know we can't make it work.
Deposits & Policies
Deposits & policies
What is the deposit policy?
Most appointments use a 50% deposit applied toward your total. Before we approve your appointment, your deposit secures your request and can be refunded or offered as a transfer or credit if we can't approve your time, location, or service area. Once your appointment is confirmed, deposits are non-refundable and may be transferred once with at least 24 hours' notice. Memberships and bundled packages are excluded from the standard deposit policy.
Are deposits refundable?
Before approval, deposits can be refunded or offered as credit if we can't approve your request. Once your appointment is confirmed, deposits are non-refundable and may be transferred one time with at least 24 hours' notice.
What if I need to reschedule?
Reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice and your deposit may be transferred once to your new appointment. Rescheduling with less than 24 hours' notice is treated as a late reschedule and forfeits the deposit.
What happens if I no-show?
No-shows forfeit the deposit and may be charged the full scheduled service amount to the card on file. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may require full prepayment for future bookings. Full details are on the policies page.
How does the membership work?
Glowtoure memberships give you a set number of custom tans per month at a member rate, with priority booking on higher tiers. Tiers and terms are outlined on the membership page.
Do gift cards expire?
Glowtoure gift cards do not expire unless an expiration date is legally permitted and clearly disclosed for a qualifying promotional or exempt certificate. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash except where required by law.
Not sure where to start?
When instant pricing applies, your deposit secures your request in the queue. Glowtoure still reviews every booking — after approval, your appointment is confirmed and prep details follow by email.
